My Therapeutic Approach:
I mainly work with neurodiverse individuals, whether that be diagnosed, self diagnosed or just curious about what the neurodiverse label means. Since getting my diagnosis in my early 20s I have become more and more passionate about supporting others who are like me!
I am an integrative talking therapist. My approach is rooted in person-centred therapy but I also incorporate techniques from cognitive and behavioural approaches.
What does this actually mean?
It means that I use a range of techniques to support my clients. I believe you are the expert on yourself and your experiences, not me. I want to create a space where you can feel seen, heard and understood. A space where you can talk about the things that are bothering you (past, present, or future) without judgement.
This looks different for different people, some people want direction where others want to go with the flow, my training allows us to do either- or both!
I value working collaboratively with my clients which means we can work together to figure out what works for you
