How I can Help:

I am accepting of all expressions of sexuality and gender. I am committed to providing affirming and accessible support for all. I work with a range of individuals though the majority of my clients are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent (whether that be a formal diagnosis, self-diagnosis or exploring these labels). I adopt a strengths based approach towards neurodiversity, whilst acknowledging the challenges that come along with it.

I offer integrative talking therapy. Which is a professional way of saying that I can pull techniques and approaches from my range of training, to make a therapeutic approach that works for you. My work is heavily based in a person-centred approach, which means that the focus of therapy is on you, that you are the expert on yourself and your experiences- not me. I believe the most beneficial aspect of this approach, and therapy as a whole, is having a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about things (past, present or future) that are concerning you.

If you have any questions about my counselling approach, at any point, please ask.

If you're still here, stick with me and let's work through this together

Introductions and Sessions:

Sessions cost £60, concession rates are available.

I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation before our first session.

Here we can briefly discuss why you are wanting therapy and how therapy with me might look. It is an opportunity for me to answer any questions you might have and to see whether we will be a good fit to work together.

If you want some things to think about before an introduction call here are some ideas:

-It can be helpful to think  how often you would like therapy (weekly or fortnightly). Monthly therapy is also an option but I usually advise this once we have worked together and have an established relationship.

-Whether you would like the sessions to be via telephone call or video call.

-It can also be helpful to think about what days/ times will work for you.

At the end of an introduction call I typically describe next steps or what starting therapy with me typically looks like from this point. You can book in during the introduction call or take a couple of days before reaching out.

If you are worried that this is not the right fit for you, we can also discuss this and I will do my best to signpost you to somewhere or someone that is.
